A Week in My Life: Week 18

Here's what the past week looked like:

Reading in a coffee shop on Labor Day.

Watching our city's parade with Luis and my mother-in-law.

Taken with my camera phone, it hardly does justice to the beauty of the simple southeast Wisconsin landscape.

I love me some chocolate cake!

While at the coffee shop, a guy sitting next to us had his pet parakeet out on the table!

So Luis asked if he could play with the little guy a bit.

Cooking... cooking.

Made some delicious coucous with the tomatoes from my parent's garden.

A sample of said tomatoes.

While trying to deal with an internet wireless problem, Luis hunkered down to fix it. Naturally, Kitty had to get equally involved. What a dork... ;-)

Driving to the resort near us to swim. We recently bought a membership so we've been going regularly. It's really fun!

I picked some lavender from my parent's garden. It looks and smells so wonderful!

Kitty exploring and looking slightly creepy...
