A Week in My Life: Week 4

I know I've been rather absent in the blogging world this past week. I really dislike putting out only one post a week, but I just haven't had much time! I promise I'll be better. Here's what the past week looked like:

It snowed a lot this past week. I really don't enjoy driving in it, but it sure is beautiful to see.

While I don't have too much time to read at the moment, I still can't help myself. I went to the library and, clearly, stocked up.

I bought a cilantro plant this week. I had one before but it died a miserable death... Maybe I'll have a better chance with this one.

Loving the extra storage that our new IKEA island gives us!

We almost adopted another kitty this week. It didn't work out, but we're so glad to have this one. She's the best!

I love tostadas, don't you? Especially with a ton of cilantro!

Luis and I toured Sprecher's Brewery in Milwaukee this week. We both had the day off and decided to have a mini-adventure. I tried their gluten-free beer, called Shakparo, which tasted amazing!

Sprecher's is primarily sold in the Midwest, so you might not have heard of them, but they produce the most amazing Root Beer and Cream Sodas! Luis and I went home with a few to try, including their version of a cola and a soda called Orange Dream.

  1. My coworker and I were just talking about gluten free beer! I didn't realize how many different kinds that there were!

    1. There really are quite a few! I'm glad because I enjoy beer and have been glad for the opportunity to continue drinking it. Even restaurants are beginning to carry gluten-free hamburger buns as options on their menu. I'm surprised McDonalds hasn't jumped on that one yet.
