We got married at a church in Zion, Illinois, surrounded by our family and friends! It was beautiful and we felt so loved and blessed.
A view inside the church we were married in.
This photo of our rings was taken on our honeymoon.
We went to Galena, Illinois for our honeymoon. It was such a beautiful, rustic city and we had such an amazing time relaxing and exploring the city. Also, lots of wine and cheese were consumed.
Messing around in the town square.
We did one of my favorite things on our honeymoon: horseback riding! I used to take lessons when I was younger, but I was thrown from the horse and it ended up turning me away from taking more lessons. But I like to get back on whenever I get the opportunity. Plus, the landscape around Galena was too beautiful to not go on a ride through it.
We got a precious little kitty, Porzia, who I know I always mention on here. We usually don't call her by her name, but we call her a ton of pet names like Kiki, Kipi, and kitty, of course.
Elsie, my mother-in-law, and I got our face painted in the Fall at a pumpkin patch we always go to.
The two of us at Richardson Farm. Each year they have a corn maze and you can come and spend time with your family and eat great food. We love the Fall season so much.
Decorating our first, tiny Christmas tree!
Spending time and relaxing together. I think this is when I made him watch Wuthering Heights. Hehe.
We went on some great foggy morning walks this past Spring. We live right along Lake Michigan, and it makes for some beautiful sights.
Spring cleaning and apartment decorating!
Reading and snacking together in a park. Notice Luis' Walkman.... This was taken during our pre-smart phone days.
We were both in the weddings of one of our best friends earlier in the summer.
Luis always helps me cook :)
Us on our summer trip to Milwaukee, one of our favorite places.
Posing for family photos at an anniversary party thrown by my mom last night.
Thanks for letting me share some of my life with you all! We're looking forward to a great new year!
