Today is [green]

Spring is finally here. My hubby and I are sitting in our chairs in the living room, enjoying the soft drops of rain on the windows. It's these calm moments in life that make the difficult ones bearable.

I potted my basil cuttings this morning. The best time to replant cuttings is when the roots are about an inch and a half long. I love how they look sitting on our window ledge.

Today is full of green. It is beautiful and comes with a sense of renewal.

  2. Hey Elise,

I've dropped by via the collective blog hop, and I'm so glad to have found your blog.

I'm greatly looking forward to visiting a couple plant nurseries and stocking up on plants in the near future. I've always loved growing green things, and though my pride and joy is a pair of wee pomegranate saplings grown from seed, they are not known for being very beautiful or lush trees, so I need to fill out my little indoor garden a bit!
