Hello again, blogging world. I know I fell off the face of the planet this weekend, but I didn't forget you. Unfortunately, I got really sick last week and had to spend some time in the hospital, then on bed-rest, hoping that my body would recover.
I finally have my energy back and I'll be heading back to work tomorrow. Wish me luck!
While I was resting, I had all of my windows open and as the wind slipped through, I could smell a change in the air. For one, it's much cooler than it has been in recent weeks, and there is a certain spicy quality that accompanies the breeze in late August. I love it!
I didn't have a blog last Fall, but this year I will, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to start redecorating and crafting my way through Fall projects and DIY endeavors. This is one of my favorite times of the year; perhaps it's because it leads to my most favorite time of the year (Christmas). Either way, I love the blazer and scarf weather, a new school semester, corn mazes, hot apple cider, and pumpkins! In the collage I created above, I shared some of my favorite moments from last Fall. Luis and I went to two pumpkin farms with our family, noshed on corn and apple cider, bought pumpkins and gourds to decorate our apartment. My mother-in-law and I even got our faces painted on one occasion.
Is there anyone else out there who loves Fall as much as I do?? Share some of your favorite traditions below!
I'm glad that you are feeling better! Fall is my favorite time of the year too. I like to enjoy pumpkin flavored everything and watch scary movies. I can't wait for boot weather!
ReplyDeleteFall in America would be amazing! Your description makes me want to jump on a plane and experience everything!
ReplyDeleteI'll be sure to post a ton of photos so that you can get more of a taste for it! It's exactly as you said- amazing! :)
DeleteOMG! These photos are amazing, so so nice, but I can't think about fall when we still have heat waves here.
ReplyDeleteFall is LIFE, I swear. It fell below 95 degrees here and I was like, "Honey, how many cans of pumpkin do we have?" Ha!
